VERY GOOD

We strongly recommend the Chamberlain WD1000WF 1-1/4 HPS garage door opener, due to the fact that it is extremely durable and quiet in operation. What we do not like is that it doesn't come with the innovative Rolling Code technology, which is a great safety feature.

Hello. I didn’t get whether this device includes a lighting system or not.

Hi, Lloyd. The Chamberlain WD1000WF does come with interior lights but they are not motion-activated so they will only turn on and off when you operate the door and not whenever you come into the garage.

Can I deactivate the battery backup at night to make sure no one gets into the garage?

The battery backup doesn’t affect the security of your garage as it doesn’t represent a way of getting in. You could deactivate it by accessing the wall controller but this would only be useful when you go on a vacation for a longer amount of time.
